Description
“2010 FIFA World Cup – South Africa”, is the 2010’s official FIFA World Cup video. In January 2010, it was revealed in an interview with one of the game’s designers. The game comprises 199 of the 204 teams that participated in the FIFA World Cup qualification in 2010. This game was developed over 12 months with two different squads – the gameplay team and the core team. Gary Patterson, the FIFA game’s creative director, managed the gameplay team. In the meantime, the core team created the audio/visual arrangement and game modes, among other tasks. To make the World Cup similar to FIFA 10, EA Sports set out to create it.
According to popular opinion, the game is still among the best football games ever made as of 2022. It is the best of the current generation of EA Sports FIFA World Cup virtual reality titles. The game sold about two million copies globally in May 2010.
Gameplay
According to EA, FIFA 11 will have better gameplay than earlier versions. For example, matches at higher altitudes would see a higher rate of player weakness, giving the home team an advantage over the visiting squad. Additionally, it has stated that injuries can occur to athletes outside of global competitions. Using online gaming platforms like Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, players select a team from 199 allowed countries and battle against either the machine or other players. You can play at each of the ten official World Cup stadiums. Moreover, EA has revealed that FIFA 10 customers may utilize their Virtual Pro to receive CYC Results and quality bonuses. The “Captain Your Country” mode is set to return, close to the “Be a Pro” mode.
The penalty kick system in the game has been modified so that the result better represents the player’s coolness. Additionally, only head-to-head, unofficial matches are available in the game’s online multiplayer lobby system. A “scenario” mode featuring fifty-five playable scenes from previous World Cup matches is available, just like in the FIFA World Cup of 2006. An online upgrade also makes it possible to recreate scenes from the 2010 World Cup.
