Description
The first game in Heat the Soul fighting game series is Bleach: Heat the Soul. It was released on March 24, 2005. However, this is a collection of three-dimensional cel-shaded fighting games for PSP. It is based on Tite Kubo’s manga and anime series Bleach. Only in Japan have all of the installments been released. Eighting created each installment, which SCEI published.
The “Story Mode” or “Mission Mode,” as it is called in the game’s 3rd and 4th series. It allows new games to expand on the series’ plot while usually following to original work. As such, the cast of characters grows with each new installment.
Additional modes that are typically carried over to the sequels have been introduced in new games. Moreover, the player employs characters directly lifted from the Bleach manga. Each utilizes one’s special skills to engage in combat and overcome an opponent.
Gameplay
Firstly, depending on the mode being used, the player pits their character against another. It is a player who is typically controlled through the game. But it could also be another player. The player takes responsibility for one of several characters in each game of this series and all of them depend on their Bleach manga competitors. The goal of every match is to use basic attacks and special moves that are reserved for each character. It is derived from moves they use in the original material to completely deplete the opponent’s health. For example, the use of Kido under Rukia Kuchiki.
Secondly, the majority of techniques have a cinematic. It goes along with them rather than being used in the present moment. Additionally, some characters can change into different forms in the middle of a battle. But only until their spirit assessment is completely depleted or the gamer terminates the alteration.
Thirdly, new Story Mode gameplay options are shown with each new installment. In the above game, the player can revisit all of the important battles. That revisit is from the start of the series in a classic story mode. By letting players experience the unique stories of each character. The 2nd series of the above game offers some variation to the original story mode. For example, the player will have to be involved in fighting with shinigami in every encounter. Alternatively, if Byakuya Kuchiki is chosen, the player will have to defeat Ichigo and his defenders’ efforts to rescue Rukia Kuchiki.
