Description
The game is a port of the original three Burnout games, with many of the tracks and game types redesigned for handheld devices. Play modes that combine classic and new tracks are a lot like those in Burnout 3: Takedown. Graphic Impact made the port for the Nintendo DS. The review provider Metacritic reports that the PSP edition of Legends earned a largely good rating. However, testing of the DS edition was bad. Additionally, there are the Heavyweight and Race Special divisions. Many cars can also be activated by fulfilling requirements. The vehicles from Burnout 2 and 3 are included in the game.
Gameplay
Firstly, in the game, players can unlock periodic tracks, vehicles, and activities by winning in a variety of racing modes. World Tour is the first among 9 kinds of game. Gamers battle in a variety of modes against other vehicles. There are different car kinds for the adventure. A gold finish in the Grand Prix allows up the following World Tour series. Cars may be activated mostly through World Tour. Race is the second game mode in this game. However, Players compete in a three-lap race against up to four vehicles on any course.
Secondly, Eliminator is the fourth mode in the above game. It is similar to a race and is only available on the World Tour. However, every lap, the car with the poorest score is removed. The contest continues until just one champ remains. In Face Off Mode, the goal is to win it by racing against an iconic vehicle. In Time Attack mode, It’s a race against time. To finish a lap as quickly as possible is the aim. The number of laps the player completes is up to them.
Thirdly, Burning Lap is the sixth mode of this mentioned game in the above. A Time Attack Change for the World Tour. A track can finish by the medal time. In road rage mode, Gamers can gain Attacks by forcing other vehicles to crash. There’s a time limit for the player in the World Tour. The event will end if the timer goes off or they “total” their vehicle. To remove a racer before time runs out or they escape. players take on the role of the police, in the pursuit mode of the game. The last mode is Crash in this game. Players engage in smash events in both the World Tour and Single Player modes to enable returning cars and crash crossings.

- There are a total of 9 kinds of modes present in the game mentioned above that are, World Tour, Race, Eliminator, Face Off, Time Attack, Burning Lap, Road Rage, Pursuit, and Crash.
- Three different kinds of medals exist. To unlock the Grand Prix, a series must have Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners.
- There are new boss challenge-chasing events in this mode. Legend Series may be activated in Total Pursuit through earning Gold.
- The several classes can be used to activate 89 different cars, including Compact, Muscle, Coupe, Sports, and Super.
- Each class has five collector vehicles. However, the player begins with a single unique vehicle for each class.
