Description
The game is similar to the other Story of Seasons games in that it puts the player in the shoes of a farmer whose main goal is to turn earnings from the farm he manages, which includes growing crops and keeping animals. With numerous significant shifts, the game is an improved recreation of Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland.
Upon learning that his grandfather has passed away, the player – who is by nature given the name Toy – heads to Leaf Valley to get his things. He meets the Harvest Goddess and three Harvest Sprites, Nic, Nak, and Flak, who invite him to live on the land and support them. He finds out that the small town will become a playground in two years by a business called Funland. The player then decides to capture his grandfather’s farm and put a lot of hard work into improving the small town. The CEO of Funland, Alice, is also introduced to the player, as are her goons, Charles and Renton, who confess that they control the town’s deed.
Gameplay
As a young farmer, it is your job to save the community from becoming a theme park. Along with growing animals and growing crops, you’ll also develop bonds with the locals. The game delivers an exciting, thrilling experience by combining interactions with others with an agricultural model. Starting with a tiny piece of land, you sow seeds there and give them regular watering. Crop harvesting generates earnings that you can use to grow your farm. In addition, you take care of the feeding and happiness of your animal products, such as cows and hens.
In addition to farming, you go around the village, interact with its unique citizens, and take part in annual celebrations. Making connections with the villages opens up new experiences and goods. Along with fishing in the nearby rivers and mining for ores, you can also finish some tasks.
The final objective is to collect sufficient cash and collect the locals’ support to protect the valley. The game has a lot of endings, and the result is greatly influenced by your choices and actions. This game is enjoyable and fulfilling since it combines farming, research, and social engagement.
