Description
“Mega Man Powered Up” is a platform video game having action in it . This is a game of the year 2006 which has improved through capcom. It was made available on a handheld PSP gaming system. It is a recreation of the 1987 first Mega Man video game. Gamers take manage of the iconic Mega Man, who needs to use eight robots known as Robot Masters to prevent Dr. Wily from taking over worldwide. In contrast to the first game, players can take manage of these eight Robot Masters in certain situations. Moreover, there are two more fresh qualities: a challenge mode and a level developer mode.
The game utilizes a chibi style that wasn’t acceptable for the first game but was meant for it. The designers aimed to maintain this realism of design to the characters’ appearance and functionality in the original. Although the game was well-received by critics, sales of the game were disappointing. The above game plans to rebuild Mega Man 2 under the name Mega Man Powered Up 2 were abandoned.
Gameplay
Firstly, players manage Mega Man, the game’s main hero, as the action takes place in two dimensions. The game applies 3D character models with extremely affected designs, compared to the 8-bit images of the original. In addition to his usual skills of jumping and shooting, Mega Man may also under specific conditions, collapse over barriers or build his Mega Buster for a stronger shot. When Mega Man comes into contact with targets or spikes, he will lose fitness, and if he falls into a hole, he will die. Fitness and life can be found at permanent spots or dropped by opponents.
Secondly, players must defeat a boss and an introduction level at the start of the game. After that, they can explore eight distinct stages, each of which is a Robot Master stated previously. Players have to fight the Robot Master of each stage when it ends. A Robot Master who is destroyed will give over his gun to Mega Man; this weapon has a finite amount of bullets but can be fired against other Robot Masters or enemies. The Robot Master will be returned to his sensations if Mega Man uses his Mega Buster to destroy him. However, this allows players to take the direction of one of the Robot Masters and go through stages.
Moreover, the new edition allows users to take on the roles of Roll, Protoman, and eight Robot Masters as they go through the game. The Old Style and New Style stages have different structures, with some pathways only available to certain Robot Masters.
