Description
“Silent Hill – Shattered Memories” is a Horror survival game that appeared on PSN in April 2014 in Europe. Shattered Memories is a revising of the original game that keeps the basic storyline. Harry Mason’s search for his lost daughter in the made-up American town of Silent Hill. But sets it in an entirely separate imaginary universe with new characters and story. There are five possible outcomes.
In general, the title’s story, character voices, soundtrack, graphics, and Wii Remote usage earned good feedback. It has also been referred positively to M. Night Shyamalan’s representations. Reviewers, however, believed the game was too short and that the puzzle exploring, pursuit scenes, and psychological components were rising. Since then, several critics have given it high marks for its creative approach to the series, and the smart changes to the original plot, mood, and gameplay.
Gameplay
Firstly, the gameplay of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is separated between two individual regions. In the first part, the scene is a psychotherapist’s office; in the second, the scene is the town of Silent Hill. However, the player engages in first-person dealing with NPC therapist Dr. Michael Kaufmann in the first portion. The player solves Kaufmann’s questions, finishes an assessment, passes a psychological exam, and colors images. The second setting’s gameplay is affected by the player’s answers to these tests in several ways. That includes the places that may be explored, the traits and looks of individuals they come across, and the physical characteristics of the creatures. Throughout the game, Kaufmann’s office is visited by Shattered Memories on occasion.
Secondly, in the scenario, the player controls Harry Mason from an above position while he looks for his little girl Cheryl in the peaceful town of Silent Hill during the winter. Harry comes with a cell phone and flashlight that he can use to take pictures, make calls, and see where he is on a GPS map. You may uncover a variety of text and phone messages. That builds the story and sometimes offers suggestions by moving to specific locations with significant interference. It indicates more radio noise or snapping photographs of locations where secret people can see. However, the player can enlarge things to see the details of different papers. In addition, the game modifies gameplay elements according to the player’s viewpoint.
Thirdly, the above game introduces the original game that has had their personalities and roles altered, and Shattered Memories adds new characters. Now and again the game switches to “Nightmare,” a cold as a fresh story but maintains the basic idea of writer Harry Mason searching for his daughter in Silent Hill following an automobile accident.
