A hack-and-slash action-adventure game called X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It is based on the movie of the same name. On May 1, 2009, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable all received the game at the same time as the movie. The game was also made available for mobile devices. Using the Unreal Engine, Raven Software was largely responsible for developing the game.
On January 1, 2014, Activision’s license agreement with Marvel expired. And then the game was taken down from all digital stores. It was Activision’s last Wolverine game released before the license ran out in 2014. Before the declaration of Marvel’s Wolverine, which is now being developed through Insomniac Games. Gameplay
